DUNKERTON - Adeline M. Mixdorf, 77, of Dunkerton, died Friday, Nov. 11, 2005, at Allen Hospital, Waterloo, following a brief illness.

She was born Nov. 19, 1927, in Waterloo, daughter of Joe R. and Freda Dunkerton Duea. She married Chancel Lee Mixdorf Oct. 17, 1946, at Fort Dix, N.J., and he preceded her in death in 1999.

She graduated from Dunkerton High School in 1945 and was employed at Chamberlain Manufacturing until she retired.

Survived by a son, Mark (Cheryl) of Dunkerton; a daughter, Monica (Rodney) Zabel of Mesa, Ariz.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jerry (Joan) Duea of Cedar Falls.

Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church-Bennington, rural Dunkerton, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at White Funeral Home, Jesup.
