Services for Mrs. Katie Foster, 82, of 3015 Schenk Road, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Oppold Funeral Home with burial in Buckingham Cemetery near Traer. She died early Monday at Schoitz Medical Center.

Mrs. Foster was born March 6, 1901, in Tama County, daughter of Henry and Lena Seeman Schlichting. She married Harry Foster Sept. 17, 1921, in Waterloo. He died in 1974.

Survivors include a son, Dellon F. Foster of 2935 E. Airline Highway; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Adler of 6137 Logan Ave.; a sister, Mrs. Dora Foster of Traer; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Tuesday.
