RAYMOND - Services for Arthur F. Youngblut, 83, of Route 1, Jesup, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St.
Joseph's Catholic Church in Raymond with burial in the church cemetery. Mr. Youngblut died Wednesday at Schoitz Medical Center, Waterloo.He was born Oct. 9, 1901, in Black Hawk County, son of John Youngblut and Margaret Robert Youngblut. He married Anna Welter on Nov. 22, 1922, in Gilbertville. She died in 1976. Mr. Youngblut farmed all of his adult life.
Survivors include five sons: Arthur "Tommy" Jr., Cleo, Melvin and James, all of Jesup, and Charles of Waterloo; three daughters: Madelyn Frost of Waterloo and Shirley Trebon, both of Waterloo, and Gladys Klunenberg of Evansdale; and 29 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at White Funeral Home in Jesup, where a Scripture service will be at 7:30 p.m. today and a parish and senior citizens rosary at 3 and St. Joseph's parish Scripture service at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the American Lung Association.
