CEDAR FALLS—A memorial Mass for Ray C. Gillam, 63, of 2015 Lincoln St., Lot 4, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mason City with burial at a later date in St. Joseph's section of Elmwood Cemetery in Mason City. Mr. Gillam died Sunday night at Veteran's Hospital in Des Moines.
He was born June 6, 1920, at Mason City, son of Ray and Katherine Conner Gillam. He married Joan A. Formanek Nov. 10, 1948, at Forest City. They moved to Cedar Falls in 1966. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps during World War II.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Thomas with the Army at Coppers Cove, Texas, and Kenneth with the Air Force in Sacramento, Calif.; a daughtar, Mrs. Jacquelyn Kinder of Cedar Falls; and four grandchildren.
There will be no visitation. The body was cremated. Patterson James Sellergren Funeral Chapel in Mason City is in charge of arrangements.
