WATERLOO — Percy G. Leaman, 86. of 1635 Easton Ave., died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 1998, at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.

He was born Sept. 20, 1912. in Nashua, son of George and Viola Patterson Leaman. He married Evelyn Skalsky on Sept 20, 1935, in Preston. Minn.

Mr. Leaman worked for Town and Country Home Improvement for 14 years, retiring in 1969.

Survived by his wife; a son. Walter P. of Cedar Falls: four grandchildren: nine great-grandchildren: a brother, Paul of Waterloo; and a sister, Donna M. Henry of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by a son, Percy "Butch." a daughter. Ginny Hackwell; two brothers. Isac and Clarence; and two sisters. Elizabeth Smith, and an infant Marvel Leaman.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Thursday Locke Funeral Home, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
