Services for Agatha J. "Gay" Kaumans, 69, of 129 John St., will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Mrs. Kaumans died of cancer Tuesday night (Jan. 26, 1988) at Allen Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 29, 1918, in Graettinger, daughter of Oscar and Catherine O'Connor Craven. She married Joseph D. Kaumans on Aug. 29, 1939, in Waterloo. He died Oct. 8,1986.
She was employed at Allen Memorial Hospital in the dietary department and as a licensed practical nurse for 25 years, retiring in 1981.
Survivors include two sons, Dan and David, both of Waterloo; two daughters, Joan Dolan and Mary Ann Noland, both of Waterloo; 13 grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Masters and Ann Shipman, both of Waterloo.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and a granddaughter.
Rosaries will be at 3 and 7 p.m. today at O'Keefe & Towne-Carter & Waychoff Funeral Home, where friends may call after 2 p.m. today.
Memorials may be made to the church.
