CEDAR FALLS — William R. "Bill" Corwin, 63, of 3429 Carlton Drive, died Friday, Sept. 13, near Huxley of injuries received in a car accident.

He was born March 24, 1928, the son of Floyd and Madgel Norton Corwin. He married Shirley A. Davis on April 20, 1950 in Cedar Falls. He served in the U.S. Army from 1946 to 1948. Then he was a self-employed milk hauler for 40 years, retiring in April 1990.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley; three sons, Douglas of Waterloo, Bill of Cedar Falls, and Greg of Colfax; a daughter, Marsha Corwin of Waterloo; nine grandchildren; three brothers, Lyle and Dale, both of Cedar Falls, and Floyd Jr. of Waterloo; and a sister, Faye Cyphers of. William Corwin Akron, Ohio.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until services Tuesday.
