FUNERAL OF J. M. OVERMAN AT
GREENWOOD CEMETERY FRIDAY EVENING.

A message received last night stated that Alfred Overman, youngest son of the late J. M. Overman of this city, died yesterday at his home in Alexandria, near Hampton. The remains will arrive here Friday night at 6 o'clock and will be taken directly to Greenwood Cemetery for burial on the family plot.

Dr. J. E. Snowden will officiate at the services at the grave.

The deceased was 81 years of age and was born in Cedar Falls and always lived there until a few years ago when he went to California. Three years ago he was married to Miss Annabel Scales of Ackley, and the past year they have been living at Alexandria, Ia.

No particulars of his death were received and it is thought it must have been sudden.
