Gideon DuBois died in this city last Friday evening, of inflammation of the brain, at the age of 27 years. Deceased had been ill with rheumatism for some time, but for two weeks had been much better, when the fatal disease attacked him.

The funeral was held Sunday afternoon, Rev. E. N. Barrett officiating.
