DIED.-

Brief mention was made yesterday of the death of Mrs. Jane Henderson, mother of Mrs. J. K.
Sweeney and Mr. M. N. Henderson, which took place yesterday morning at the residence of Mrs. Sweeney, with whom deceased has lived for the past twelve years.

Mrs. Henderson was born in Western Pennsylvania, January 29, 1801, and was accordingly in her 91st year. She was the mother, of fifteen children, of whom eleven survive her. Her husband died in 1860.

Deceased was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and was a consistent Christian.

The funeral was held from Mr. Sweeney's residence at 4 p.m. today and was conducted by Rev. M. K. Cross. The remains will be taken to New Athena, Ohio, where she resided for many years, for burial.
