WATERLOO — Marion G. Bodecker, 93, of Waterloo, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at Manor Care Health and Rehab Center.

She was born Feb. 29, 1920, in Franklin County, daughter of Ed and Tena Bleeker Boyenga. She married Arthur A. Bodecker on April 6, 1946, in Ackley. He died May 31, 1992.

Mrs. Bodecker was a homemaker and was a member of Immanuel Presbyterian Church, Waterloo.

Survived by a sister, Betty Wilkens of Marshalltown.

Preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Arlyss, Alvin and Edward Boyenga.

Services: 1 p.m. Friday at Immanuel Presbyterian Church, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Kearns Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
