Waterloo Man Found Dead.

WATERLOO, May 4. —No inquest will be held into the death of Frank Doxey, 65, found, dead in his apartment here. The coroner attributed death to a cerebral hemorrhage.

Doxey was Waterloo's first telephone operator.

Married to Lillie M. Knowles Doxey

[Relatives] A 6/4/1929 Waterloo Evening Courier, article featured a promotion of Frank's brother, Fred R. Doxey which said:

"[Fred] Doxey is a son of Mrs. R. A. Doxey, 220 Fremont Street, and a brother of Clifton and Bert Doxey, 220 Fremont St.; Frank Doxey, 303 Rath-Peek apartments, and Mrs. Mary Illingworth, 316 Walnut Street. He is visiting at the home of his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Olmsted, 417 Logan Ave."

Son of Biscoe Sanford Doxey (1826 - 1901) and Rachel A. Dorlan Doxey (1836 - 1930)
