Cedar Falls. — Services for George Besh, 74, who died late Tuesday following several years lingering illness, will be conducted Thursday at 2 p. m., at the home, 802 State Street. Rev. J. A. Haehlen, district superintendent of the Evangelical church, will conduct the service. Burial will be in Falrview Cemetery.

George Besh was born Aug. 10, 1859, at Albany, N. Y.. and came to Iowa when five years old, with his parents, Michael and Maria Besh. They settled on a farm near Denver, which Besh owned at time of his death. In 1914 the family moved to Cedar Falls.

Surviving are two children. Miss Ella Besh at home, and Byron Besh, 512 West Eighth Street; a sister, Mrs. Amanda Button, Janesville, also survives, the last of eight
children. Mrs. Lanthe A. Farrington Besh, to whom he was married Jan. 4, 1893, died May 15, 1922.
