FLOWERS, BELL, PRICE

Arthur Flowers, 14-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. John Flowers, 251 Jackson Street, died at 2 p.m. Sunday at the sanitarium at Oakdale, Ia., where he had been a patient for three years. Death was caused by tuberculosis.

He was born Sept. 19, 1919, at Mound Bayou, Miss. The family moved to Waterloo six years ago. He was a member of the Sunday school of Union Baptist Church.

Surviving besides the parents are two brothers, William and Edward, both at home; a sister, Mrs. Rudolph Bell, 219 Jackson Street, and grandmother, Mrs. Ellen Price, Leavenworth, Kan.

The body was to be brought Monday to the Kearns Funeral Home.
