Samuel Milonas, 38, 713 Sycamore Street, died at 2 a. m. today in St. Francis Hospital from complications, following an operation last Saturday.

Mr. Milonas was born in Isle of Samos. Greece, in 1889*. He came to America when he was 18 and located for a time in New York City, later moving to Cedar Rapids. He came to Waterloo 15 years ago and had, with his brothers, John and Gus Milonas. operated the Iowa lunch room. 713 Sycamore Street.

Mr. Milonas married Miss Kasandra Kazlas, Waterloo, July 17, 1927. He was a member of St. Demetrics' Greek Orthodox church and belonged to Waterloo lodge No. 328, L. O. O. M.

Surviving besides his widow, are two brothers in America, Gus Milonas. 312 Seventh Street East and John Milonas, 915 Lafayette Street. His mother, another brother, and three sisters remain in Greece.

The body will remain at the Petersen Bros. Mortuary until services which will be conducted at St. Demetrios' Church Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Emmanuel Kafkakls, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
