EVANSDALE - Services for Clarence H. Cook, 77, of 313 Central Ave., will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Chapel of Memories West in Waterloo, with burial in the Garden of Memories. Mr. Cook died at 1 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Hospital, Waterloo.

He was born at Decatur, Neb., June 24, 1900, son of William and Ernestina Frompke Cook. He married Lillian Kanz and she preceded him in death. He later married Opal E. Billick April 21, 1951, in Chicago. He was a meat cutter. He was a World War II veteran.

He is survived by three sons, Harold Cook of Grenada Hills, Calif., Paul Cook of Panoramia, Calif., Milton Cook of Zion, Ill.; three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Lamer of Santa Rosa, Calif., Mrs. Frances Del Silva of Whittier, Calif., and Mrs. Louise Houston of Arlington Heights, Ill.; three stepsons, Glenn Elliott of 188 Michigan Drive, Elk Run Heights, Kenneth Elliott of 1926 Crescent Drive, Cedar Falls, and James Elliott of 1021 Ora Drive, Waterloo; four stepdaughters, Mrs. June Cook of 1217 Lincoln St., Waterloo, Mrs. Bertha Althaus of Independence, Rosemary Althaus of Independence and Mrs. Irene Brown of 1101 Central Ave., Waterloo; 36 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home until service time.
