WATERLOO - Charles R. "Pete" White II, 48, of Waterloo, died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2006, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center of cancer.

He was born Sept. 29, 1957, in Waterloo, son of Charles Sr. and Betty Replogle White.

Mr. White was employed as a handyman in the area and served in the U.S. Marine Corps and Army Reserve.

Survived by four sons: Kevin of Waterloo, and Corey, John and Jordan, all of Minnesota; three brothers: Tom Gehl, Scott (Tracy Hines) White and Gary (Brenda) Nieman, all of Waterloo; and a sister, Lynette "Tiney" (Larry) Gineau of Cresco.

Preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Steve White; a sister-in-law, Darlene "Sue" Gehl; and an infant sister.

Graveside services: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Fairview Cemetery where full military rites will be conducted by the Iowa National Guard. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street.
