BALLHEIM, ANTON, HARTUNG, MURRAY, CHAMPION, HETHERTON

Clinton E. Ballheim, 81, of 101 Lafayette St., died at 7 p.m. Thursday of uremic poisoning at St. Francis Hospital.

He was born in La Porte City on Dec. 17, 1885, the son of Henry and Margaret Anton Ballheim. On June 9, 1909 at Denver he married Rosalind Hartung. After her death in 1938 he married, on July 3, 1941, Florence Murray in Cedar Rapids.

Mr. Ballheim had lived in Waterloo since 1908 and was a carpenter for the John C. Miller Construction Co. He retired in 1961. He was a member of Carpenter's Local 1835 and the First Lutheran Church,

Surviving are his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Robert Champion, Jewell; one sister, Mrs. Olive Hetherton, Hwy. 20 West, Cedar Falls; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, one son, two brothers and a sister.

Funeral services are tentatively scheduled for Monday morning at the O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home where friends may call after 3 p.m. Saturday.
