STALLMAN, KURTH, BRAUN, EDWARDSON

[Waterloo Daily Courier, Monday, September 21, 1970, Waterloo, Iowa]

Mrs. Clara Stallman, formerly of 1036 Columbia St., died at 12:30 a.m. Monday of Parkinson's Disease at Woodlawn Convalescent Home, where she had been a patient for the past five years. Funeral services are pending at O'Keefe and Towne funeral home, where friends may call.

She was borri March 24, 1896 in Waterloo, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Braun Kurth. She was married to Charles Stallman June 16, 1920 in Waterloo.

Mrs. Stallman was a member of St. Mary's. Catholic Church, the Rosary Society, and Women's Catholic Order Foresters.

Survivors include one brother, Walter "Spider" Kurth, and one sister, Mrs. Elsie Edwardson, both of 745 Kern St.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters and three brothers.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church for Mrs. Clara E. Stallman, 74, formerly of 1036 Columbia St., who died Monday of Parkinson's Disease at Woodlawn Convalescent Home, where she had been a patient-for the past five years. .

The. Rt; Rev. Msgr. Ernest Ament, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

There will be a parish rosary at O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
