CEDAR FALLS — Mildred J. Gast, 78, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday Jan. 22, 1994, at Sarton Memorial Hospital of natural causes.

She was born June 16, 1915, in New Hartford, the daughter of Willie and Grace Luck Brennan. She married Gerald F. Gast in Waterloo on July 3,1934 He died Nov. 1, 1980.

Survived by a son, Dale of Des Moines; three grandchildren; and a sister Sylvia Gast of New Hartford.

Preceded in death by a son, Paul; a sister, Maxine Minikus; and two brothers, William and Clarence Brennart.

Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cedar Heights Baptist Church, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 1 to 8 am. Monday at Richardson Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Visitation also from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home; and an hour before services Tuesday at the church.
