Dinsdale — Thomas L. Reid, 80. died Wednesday at AHen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo of a stroke he suffered last Saturday.

Born Apr. 9, 1866, in Tama County, near Traer, son of Samuel and Jane Reid. He had been a farmer.

He leaves two sons, Harold, Salina, Kan.; Clarence, Burlington; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a stepson, Ben L. Shea, Wilton Junction; two brothers, Will Reid, Cedar Falls, and John Reid, Brush, Colo.; three sisters, Mabel Reid, missionary to Burma, now in this country on furlough; Mrs. Emma Young, Webster City, and Mrs. Sadie Whannel, Janesville.

Funeral, 1:30 p. m. Friday at the States Funeral Home at Traer; burial in Buckingham Cemetery near Traer.
