Cedar Falls—Funeral services will be in Waterloo at a date to be announced later lor Mrs. George B. Strayer, 82, who died at the home of her son, Carl J. Strayer at Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on Tuesday. Death was due to a heart condition.

Born Martha Jane Byers, daughter of William and Isabel Byers, at Johnstown, Pa., Mar. 20, 1864; she was married to George B. Strayer at Johnstown Mar. 14, 1888.

The couple became residents of Waterloo in 1906, where Mr. Strayer had a real estate office.

Mrs. Strayer maintained her residence here until 1924, and since that time had divided her time between Drinkwater, Saskatchewan, Can., where Mr. Strayer had farming interests, and Fort Lauderdale, where they resided, and where Mr. Strayer was in the real estate business.

Survivors include four children, Ralph W.. Rock Springs, Wyo.; Carl J., Drinkwater; Mrs. A. E. Kubeck, Oklahoma City, Okla., and Hazel B. Strayer on the faculty at ISTC.

Two sons, Paul and Harrison, preceded her in death. Her husband died Nov. 1, 1945.

Mrs. Strayer was a lifelong member of First Brethren Church.
