WATERLOO - Marjorie A. "Marge" Brennan, 82, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007, at Parkview Nursing & Rehab Center of cancer.

She was born Dec. 5, 1924, in Jesup, daughter of John and Mary Schuler Amfahr. She married Donald A. Bedard, and he died Oct. 16, 1982. She married Francis J. Brennan, and he died Nov. 22, 1993.

She was a homemaker.

Survived by several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: a brother, Joseph Amfahr; and four sisters, Anna Mae Amfahr, Betty Fangman, Marie Schmidt and Florence Reuter.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Edward Catholic Church, with burial in West View Cemetery, La Porte City. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, where there will be a 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also for an hour before services Saturday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the Amenity Hospice or the family.
