WATERLOO — Mary A. Jebe, 71, of Waterloo died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006, at Allen Hospital

She was born April 13, 1934, in Waterloo, daughter of Carl and Alice Jacobsen Sherwood. She married Wesley F. Jebe Jr. April 25, 1959, in Nashua. He died Nov. 30, 1997. She was a homemaker all of her life.

Survived by four sons, Mike (Barb) Smith of Cedar Falls, and Kevin Carothers, Mark Jebe (Cassie Little) and Wesley Jurgen Scott Jebe, all of Waterloo; two daughters, Penney Glandy) Leraaen and Julie (David) Moses, both of Waterloo; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, James (Shirley) Sherwood of Cedar Falls; and a special family friend, Leroy Joe Bean of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by her husband; and a grandson, Wesley Scott Jebe.

Services: 2 pm. Tuesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway. Following the service, her body will be cremated. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and for an hour before services Tuesday at the funeral home.
