Mrs. Ina Stripes, 80, of 1026 Calhoun St., died at 9:25 p.m. Sunday in St; Francis Hospital of complications of advanced age.

She was born on September 6, 1880, in Waubeek, la., the daughter of Albert and Jennie Wiggins Warren.

On Dec. J4, 1899, she was married to Harris W. Stripes in Anamosa. He pxeceded her in death in 1940. She moved to Waterloo six years ago from Independence, la.

Mrs. Stripes was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, the Kensington Club and the First Baptist Church of Independence.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ruby Bailey of Plankington, S. D.; Mrs Chester Voland of Independence and Mrs. Carl Waddell of 703 Gilbert St.; one son James Stripes of Independence; 13 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Stripes was preceded in death by her husband, three sisters, one brother and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services are set for 1:30 p. m. Wednesday at the Hawe Funeral Home, Independence. Friends may call there after 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Burial in Oakhill Cemetery, Central City.
