POE, MOSELEY, TURNER

Funeral services are planned at the First Methodist Church Friday for Clarence L. Poe, 60, of 515 Home Park Blvd., who died at his home at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday of Hodgkin's disease.

Further funeral arrangements are pending at the Parrott and Wood Funeral Home.

Mr. Poe, who had been ill since April, was born Oct. 4, 1898, at Cadmus, Kan., the son of William and Anna Poe. He moved to Shell Rock with his parents in 1907.

He was a graduate of Shell Rock High School and Gates Business College in Waterloo. Mr. Poe was employed by the Construction Machinery Co. for 41 years. He was the treasure.

He married Nellie Moseley at Hudson on Sept. 8, 1925.

Mr. Poe was a member of the board of trustees of the First Methodist Church and was active in the National Association of Cost Accounts.

Surviving are his wife, one son, Richard, a student at the Harvard Medical School, Boston, Mass.; one sister, Mrs. Rolland Turner, of Parkersburg; three brothers: Vincent, Cedar Falls; Delton, of Kansas City, Mo., and Fred, of South Pasadena, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and two sisters.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, friends who desire may make contributions to the First Methodist Church memorial fund.

Friends may call at Parrott and Wood.
