WATERLOO — Patsy P. Roethler, 76, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Waterloo, died Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids.

She was born April 11, 1937, in Tyler, Texas, daughter of Arthur and Edna Terrell Kitchens. She married Kenny Roethler on Aug. 27, 1996, in Las Vegas.

Mrs. Roethler graduated from John Tyler High School in Tyler in 1955, and served in the U.S. Air Force in California. She worked at Home Savings and Loan, Waterloo, from 1975 to 1996.

Survived by her husband; a son, Jim (Shirley) Lang of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two daughters, Debra (Sue Ayres) Lang of Eau Claire, Wis., and Dennise (Mark) Weber of Waterloo; a stepdaughter, Renata LaMar of Atalissa; a stepson, Richard Roethler of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren, Luke (Crystal) Weber, Becca Weber and Trey Roethler; a great-grandchild, with one on the way; and two brothers, Don Kitchens of Palestine, Texas, and Tommy Kitchens of Ottawa, Kan.

Preceded in death by a sister, Barbara (Herman) Elrod.

Services: 2 p.m. Friday at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, where visitation begins at noon.
