Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Sophie Holm, 85, of Rt. 4, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Ansgar's Lutheran Church. Mrs. Holm died at the home of her son, Severin, with whom she made her home, at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday of a cerebral hemorrhage.

The Rev. Richard Sorensen, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Holm was born on Sept. 24, 1874, in Als, Denmark, the daughter of Lars and Marie Larsen. She was married to Christian Holm in Cedar Falls on Nov. 15, 1899. The couple came to Waterloo in 1924. She was a member of St. Ansgar's Lutheran Church.

She is survived by three sons, Severin of Rt. 4; Harold, of LaVerne, Calif., and Arnold, of Washburn; one daughter, Mrs. B. J. Tucker, 920 Kimball Ave.; two sisters, Mrs. Jorgen Larsen, of Concordia, Kan., and Mrs. George Fergeman, of 925 Baltimore St.; one brother, M. Louis Larsen, of Estherville; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1956, and three sisters.

Friends may call at the Parrott and Wood Funeral Home after 10 a.m. Friday. The body will be taken to the church at noon on Saturday.
