HUDSON - Richard C. "Dick" Harriman, 83, of Hudson, died Saturday, November 17, 2013 at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo.

He was born February 10, 1930, in Fayette, IA, the son of Donald and Laura Higgins Harriman. He married Delores Destival August 7, 1950, in Sumner, IA.

He was employed as truck driver with Western Transportation for 21 years and then with EPI as an assistant house coordinator for 21 years.

Survived by his wife of Hudson; two sons, Rick (Patty) Harriman of Byron, MN and Randy (Chip) Harriman of Waterloo; two daughters, Judy (Tim) Anderson of Jesup and Carla (Jeff Davis) Corcran of Cedar Falls; six grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one sister, LaMilda Kraft of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by his daughter, LeAnn Faye Harriman; and three brothers, Jim, Harold, and Bobby Harriman.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with interment in the Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Richardson Funeral Service in Cedar Falls. Military honors will be provided by the Hudson AMVETS Post #82.
