Services for Casper O. Koepke, 72, of 1759 Plymouth Ave., will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Chapel of Memories Funeral Home with burial in Fairview Cemetery, Denver. He died of natural causes Sunday (June 26, 1988) at his home.

He was born, Aug. 21, 1915, in Denver, son of Carl "Charles" and Cora E. Worple Koepke. He married Elvera Andersen on Aug. 21, 1938, in Waverly. They were later divorced. He married Alta LaMaster on March 25, 1970, in Waterloo. She died June 7, 1973. He was employed at Rath Packing Co. for 22 years, retiring in 1976.

Survivors include two sons, James D. of Garland, Texas, and Craig S. of Waterloo; two stepdaughters, Marie L. Easter of Waterloo and Charlotte M. French of Vivian, La.; a stepson, Robert J. Runs of Hot Springs, Ark; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; his stepmother, Edna Koepke of Janesville; a sister, Leona Bowles of Janesville; and four stepsisters, Mrs. Marvin Stumph of Goldfield, Mrs. William Southworth of Evansdale and Mrs. Raymond McDonald and Mrs, Donald Rockwood, both of Janesville.

He was preceded in death by a brother, William.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to services Thursday.
