WATERLOO - Marlys L. Eikenberry, 68, of 1820 E. Ridgeway Ave., died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 1996, at Medical Center of Plano in Plano, Texas, after a lengthy illness.

She was born Sept. 16, 1927, in Waterloo, daughter of Paul sand Emilie Wunder Timmermann. She married Raymond Z. Eikenberry on Sept. 8, 1946, in Waterloo. He died on Feb. 5, 1992.

Mrs. Eikenberry was employed as a darkroom technician at Allen Memorial Hospital for 12½ years, retiring in 1990.

Survived by a son, Howard of Urbandale; three daughters: Gail Nielsen of Denver, Vicki Hunting of Plano and Lori Eikenberry of Richardson, Texas; five grandchildren; three brothers: Fred, Bruce and Paul Timmermann, all of Waterloo; and a sister, Adella Molloy of Brooklyn.

Preceded in death by two sisters, Elta Weeks and Effine Timmermann.

Services 10 a.m. Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:30 to 9 p.m. Friday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel, and an hour before services Saturday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Allen Memorial Hospital educational building fund or Grace Lutheran Church building fund.
