RALPH F. WINTERBOTTOM, Sr.

Funeral services for Ralph F. Winterbottom, Sr., 70, long-time Waterloo businessman, who died yesterday morning at Altadena, Calif., are pending at the Parrott & Wood Funeral Home where the body will arrive early Tuesday.

Mr. Winterbottom, president for many years of the Heating & Cooling Supply Co., 180 W. 1st St., was born June 19, 1893, at Falls City, Neb., the son of J. W. and Alice Winterbottom. He married Mary Baitlett Sept.11, 1913.

The family moved to Altadena six years ago after residing in Waterloo for about 50 years. While here he was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and. resided at 720 Moir St.

Surviving care his widow at Altadena; two sons, Ross C., Winterbottom, of Santa Monica, Calif., and Ralph F., Jr., of Decatur, Ill; a daughter, Mrs. David Kane, of Littleton, Colo.; a sister, Mrs. D...C. Knight, of 100 Woodstock Rd., and five grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
