Funeral services for Henry Robertson, 63, of Chicago, a former resident, will be conducted at 1 p.m.. Tuesday at Payne AME Church. The Rev I. V. Tolbert, pastor, is to officiate with burial in Fairview Cemetery.

Friends may call at Johnson Funeral Home until noon on Tuesday. Mr. Robertson died of cancer on Jan. 3 at Cook County Hospital in Chicago.

He was born in Aberdeen, Miss., on Dec. 25, 1900, the son of Henry and Maggie Robertson. He married Cynthia Hogan, now Mrs. Cynthia Stevens, 345 Albany St. The couple was later divorced. Mr. Robertson was employed as a porter for the Illinois Central and Pennsylvania Railroads for many years and was a member of Payne AME Church in Waterloo and later of Bethel AME Church in Chicago.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

Survivors are two daughters, Mmes. Mary Frances Oliver, 1004 Gilbert St., and Mary Lee Forney of Denver, Colo.; one son, William, 345 Albany St.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
