YOCKEY, COLVIN, TURNER, WESTERFIELD

Roy Yockey, 59, of 1416 Black Hawk St., died at 5:40 p. m. Friday, at Veterans Hospital in Iowa City, of pneumonia. He had been a patient there for about 10 days.

He was born in Waterloo December 12, 1904, the son of Bert A. and Clara Colvin Yockey. He attended Waterloo public schools and served in World War II.

Mr. Yockey is survived by his mother, also of 1416 Black Hawk St.; two sisters, Mrs. Harvey Turner, of 1204 Jefferson St., and Mrs. Raymond Westerfield, of 1421 Washington St.; and one brother, Bert of 1309 Lyon St.

He was preceded in death by his father and one brother.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. tomorrow at the Locke Funeral Home with the Dr. C. Vin White, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Waterloo.
