Harley H. Husman, 77, of 2320 Rainbow Drive, Cedar Falls, who was owner and operator of Red's Body Shop for more than 40 years in Waterloo, before his retirement, died at 8:05 a.m. Sunday at Allen Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for the past four weeks of complications of a heart condition.

He was born on Sept. 5, 1886, in LaPorte City, the son of Joseph and Nancy Brown Husman.

He married Pearl Thomas in May of 1907 in St. Paul, Minnesota. They spent most of their married life in Waterloo before moving to Cedar Falls. He was a member of Waterloo lodge 165 AF&AM.

Mr Husman is survived by his widow and one sister.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Parrott & Wood Chapel with the Rev Richard J. Dieken of Cedar Heights Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
