WATERLOO — Randy Eugene Marovets, 40, of Waterloo, died at home Aug. 8, 2013.

He was born Oct. 19, 1972, in Waterloo, son of Jim and Dianne Clemons Marovets.

He worked at Hoover as a janitor; worked for the city of Waterloo as a shop keeper; worked at Waterloo Warehousing as a forklift driver; and owned his own drywall business.

Survived by a son, Brandon; his parents; a sister, Tammy; two brothers, his twin Ron (Judy Garretson) and Chad, both of Waterloo; his grandmother, Myrtle; four aunts; two uncles; a niece; two nephews; nine cousins; and family friend, Stacy Hunt.

Preceded in death by a half sister, Sarah Scott; grandmother, Mary; and grandfathers, Leo and Gerald.

Family memorial services will be held at a later date.

Randy loved the outdoors. He liked to go fishing, camping and work on vehicles. He loved to cook and did a lot of canning.
