HARNACK, RADLOFF, GARINGER

Henry W. Harnack, 75. building contractor and carpenter here 14 years, died Sunday at 1 a.m. in his home at 807 Walnut Street of a heart ailment.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p. m. in the First Evangelical United Brethren Church by Rev. H. M. Raecker, pastor. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Mr. Harnack came to Waterloo in 1923 and retired about 10 years ago.

Born in Farmersburg Township, Clayton County, Iowa, on June 11, 1872, he was the son of Henry and Mary Harnack. He married Miss Emma Harriet Radloff in 1898 at Elkader, Iowa, and was a member of First Evangelical United Brethren Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, LeRoy, Elkader, and Cyril, 629 Logan Avenue; one brother, Emil, Lime Springs, Iowa; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

The body was taken to Locke Funeral Home and will remain there until the time of service.

After Henry's death, his wife was remarried to Walter A. Garinger. She is buried with Henry as Emma Harriet Harnack
