WATERLOO — Wayne Kidrowski, 56, of Holiday Lake near Brooklyn, formerly of Waterloo, died Friday, Aug. 16, 2013, of injuries received in an accident near Brooklyn.

He was born Dec. 25, 1956, in Cresco, son of Robert and Giovanne Pecinovsky Kidrowski. He married Cindy Johnston Eakins on Sept. 4, 2001, at Holiday Lake.

Mr. Kidrowski worked for Ironworkers Local Union 89 for 23 years, then following retirement worked for the Brooklyn Elevator.

Survived by his wife of Grinnell; two daughters, Kari Kidrowski of Muskegon, Mich., and Kristi Kidrowski of Evansdale; a stepdaughter, Shanna Eakins of Waterloo; a stepson, Joel Eakins of Ames; two granddaughters; four sisters, Renee (Robert) Smeby of Lake Shore, Minn., Cheryl Kidrowski of Plainview, Minn., Mary (Vince) Anderson of New Port Richey, Fla., and Carolyn (Pete) Jorland of Bovey, Minn.; and three brothers, Fred (Colleen) McCall, Bobby Kidrowsky of Bloomington, Minn., and Jack (Angie) Kidrowski of Dickinson, N.D.

Celebration of Life gathering 6:30 to 9 p.m. Friday at Holiday Lake Community Center.
