CEDAR FALLS - Wanda C. Ward was born July 19, 1931, in Cedar Falls, Iowa, the daughter of Christian F. and Mary (Burke) Hansen.

She married Larry Heller in 1948 in Cedar Falls. They were later divorced. She then married John "Jack" Ward December 2, 1971 in Galena, Illinois. She worked as a waitress in the area for may years, retiring in 1971.

Wanda is survived by her three daughters, Loreen (Justin) Rand and Bonnie (Mike) Brown, all of Cedar Falls and Rebecca "Becky" (Terry) Hicks of Waverly; step daughter, Joyce Ward of Fairfield; step son, David (Marge) Ward of Des Moines; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and brother, James (Jean) Harris of Kingsport, TN.

Wanda died Friday, November 10, 2006 at the Cedar Falls Healthcare Center.

She was preceded in her parents, husband, and three brothers, Ernest in infancy, and Eugene and Don Hanson.
