WATERLOO — Justin Matthew McBride, 37, of Newton, formerly of Colfax and Waterloo, died at home Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013.

He was born Sept. 5, 1976, in Cedar Falls, son of Steve and Judy Hyke McBride.

Mr. McBride was a 1995 graduate of Colfax-Mingo High School and had worked for Hy-Vee in Newton.

Survived by his parents of Colfax; a sister, Jessica (Bailey Dannels) McBride of Colfax; a brother, Josh of Colfax; his niece and nephew, Cameron McBride and Destiny McBride-Dannels, both of Colfax; his grandfather, Charles Hyke of Waterloo; three aunts; and three cousins.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Mary Ellen McBride; his grandmother, Beverly Hyke; and an uncle in infancy.

Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Wallace Family Funeral Home & Crematory, Newton. Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
