Funeral services will be at 2:30 p. m. Tuesday at Kearns-Dykeman Chapel in Waterloo for Mrs. Helena Louisa Dickson, 52, of the Western Home, Cedar Falls, who died Sunday at 4:45 p.m. at the Bonorden Nursing Home following a series of strokes.

The Rev. Lewis Crase, pastor of the First Christian church in Cedar Falls, will officiate. Burial will be in the Reinbeck Cemetery, Reinbeck, where graveside services are scheduled for 3:45 p. in. Tuesday. She had been a patient at the nursing home for the past three weeks.

Mrs. Dickson was born on March 13, 1881, the daughter of Peter L. and Katherine Kroger Backens, Reinbeck. She received her education at Reihbeck and taught school for a few years at Morrison and Dinsdale before her marriage. She had been, a resident of Cedar Falls since April 13, 1957. She formerly resided at Lime Springs and Cummings, N. D.

On Dec. 16, 1903, she was married to Glenn F. Dickson at Relnbeck. She was a member of the First Christian church at Cedar Falls; also a member of the Ship of Joy Club and a member of the Waterloo chapter WCTU.

Surviving are three sons, Russell, 711 Cornwall Ave.; Wayne L. Dickson, 1225 Glenny Ave.; Dale E. Dickson, 1149 Forest Ave.; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband in 1962; one son, four brothers and
four sisters.

The deceased son was Ralph Glenn Dickson, Oct. 16, 1918- Mar 9, 1937. He was killed in a car accident miles west of Cedar Falls.
