Donald R. Granneman, 65, 1148 Rachael St., died Sunday (Jan. 4, 1987) at Allen Memorial Hospital after surgery.

He was born May 6, 1921, in Hawkeye, son of William and Frieda Kaple Granneman. He married Geraldine Mistle in 1945.

Mr. Granneman was an auto parts salesman until he retired in 1984. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; two brothers, Russell of Hawkeye and Lowell of Oelwein; and a sister, Mrs. Belva McDermott of Oelwein.

The body was cremated. There will be no services. Locke Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
