CEDAR FALLS — Maralee J. Lowcock, 83, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo.

She was born Nov. 22, 1929, in Villisca, daughter of Eldred F. and Grace Steward Bell. She married Max Lowcock on Nov. 24, 1978, in Cedar Falls. He died June 10, 2010.

She was a 1947 graduate of Cedar Falls High School and was the deputy clerk of the juvenile court for Black Hawk County, retiring in 1990.

Survived by a brother, Bill (Julie) Bell of Nashua; a sister, Dolores Voorhees of Cedar Falls; a stepson, Erik (Christina) Lowcock; and a stepdaughter, Brenda Joyce Coda.

Preceded in death by her parents.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Monday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today and for an hour before services Monday at the funeral home.
