[Waterloo Evening Courier, Thursday, November 11, 1915, Waterloo, Iowa]

At 6 o'clock last evening occurred the death of Mrs. William Hannegan at her home, 623 West Fifth Street.

She was 75 years of age and had been seriously ill for several weeks. At times she rallied and new hope would arise, but a weakened heart finally caused her demise.

Funeral arrangements have not yet been arranged, pending work from children at a distance, but probably will take place Saturday morning.

Besides her husband, six children survive. They are: Mrs. Bessie Horrigan of Waterloo, Mrs. Brown of Minneapolis, Miss Maggie living at home, and Miss Kathleen, a teacher in Jacksonville, Fla. The sons are Will Hannegan of Canada, who probably will not be able to come, and John and Frank, living in Cedar Falls. One son Anthony, died fifteen years ago.

The deceased was born in Ireland but had lived in Cedar Falls for about forty years.
