PNEUMONIA FATAL TO YOUNG MOTHER

Mrs. John R. Entwhistle, Mother of Three Chidren, Died Wednesday Noon.

Mrs. John R. Butwhistle died at 11 o'clock Wednesday forenoon at her home, 422 Rath Street, following an illness from pneumonia of one week's, duration. Funeral services have not been arranged.

Mrs. Entwhistle was formerly Miss Frances Snodgrass. She was born in Kansas twenty-six years ago, and seven years ago was united in marriage to John Entwhistle. The ceremony was performed at Mason City where they were living at the time. Both had been residents of Waterloo previous to their marriage.

Deceased leaves her husband, John Entwhistle, who is a sign painter, and three children. Fern, Martha and Robert. Two half-sisters are residents of Charles City.

Death saddened the home of John R. Entwhistle, 422 Rath Street, at 11 o'clock, this morning when the wife and mother, Frances Irene Entwhistle, passed away after only a week's illness of pneumonia.

Deceased was born in Kansas, October 25, 1883, and was in her twenty-sixth year when the thread of life was severed. She moved to Waterloo soon after her marriage and with her husband had lived here about eight years.

She leaves to mourn hor death, her husband and three small children, the oldest seven and the youngest two years. Her mother lives in Charles City from which place she and her husband, moved when they came to Waterloo.

She was a member of the Salvation Army and took active interest in the work here for several years. She was a young woman of kind disposition and endeavored to do good whenever the opportunity presented itself. The husband and little children have the sympathy of all at this sad time. The neighbors have been very helpful and considerate during the days of her illness and death.

The funeral arrangements have not been made but await the arrival of the mother from Charles City.

Mrs. John Entwhistle was laid at rest in Fairvlew Saturday morning. Services were held from the home, 422 Rath Street at 10:30 o'clock.

The obit of John Entwhistle 1873-1956, said he married Frances Irene Snodgrass Aug. 6, 1902. The girl's married names became Mrs. Clifford Pitts, Eugene, Ore., and Mrs. Paul Trabandt, Cedar Falls.
