Services for Melvin T. Boyenga, 49, of Park Towers Apartments. No. 911, will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Chapel of Memories West, with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Mr. Boyenga died Monday of cancer at Schoitz Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 8, 1932, in Cedar Falls, son of Thomas and Hannah Johnson Boyenga. He married Ellen Franck in 1953 in Cedar Falls, and they were later divorced. He had been employed at Rath Packing Company.

Survivors include his mother of Park Towers Apartments No. 602; a son, Jesse, of Amarillo, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Debbie Puttmann of Independence; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call after noon Wednesday at the funeral home.
