Raymond Millard Paulson, 90, of 1115 W Sixth St, died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 1991, at Covenant Medical Center at West Ninth Street of natural causes.

He was born Feb. 22, 1901, in Clermont, son of Abraham and Ingaborg Gunderson Paulson. He married Irene Horan in 1937 and she died in 1965. He then married Beatrice Smithling on Dec. 4, 1969, in Waterloo. Mr. Paulson was employed at Deere & Co. for 26 years, retiring in 1961.

Survivors include his wife; two stepsons, Harlan and Dennis Smithling, both of Houston, Texas; a stepdaughter, Mary Rains of San Diego, Calif.; 10 stepgrandchildren; and nine stepgreat-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Julius, and a sister, Hannah Sherva.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church, with burial at 3 p.m. Saturday in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Clermont. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Chapel of Memories-West Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Saturday at the church.

Memorials may be given to First Lutheran Church.
