MRS. LLOYD S. McDOWELL

After suffering eight weeks of cancer, Mrs. Lloyd S. McCowell, 42, died at 10 a.m. today at her home at Hudson.

She was born on a farm three miles west of Hudson on Sept 2, 1884. Her maiden name being Ellen Pauline Walters. On June 30, 1920, she was married to lloyd McDowell, who survives with two children. Margaret Ellen, 5, and Stanley Lloyd, 3.

Other relatives surviving are Mrs. Margaret Walters, mother, Hudson; Henry W. Leland, Ore., and Edward, Hudson. Three sisters also survive: Mrs. Al Mueller, Waterloo; Mrs. James Hill, Fairbank, Mrs. Z. Wagner, Van Nuys, Cal.

Her father, two sisters and a brother preceded her in death.

The body will be at Petersen Bros' Mortuary until tomorrow. Funeal rites will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Brethren Church at Hudson. BUrial will be at that place also.
