WATERLOO — Horace C. “Perm” Perman, 93, of Landmark Commons, died Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.
He was born July 7, 1920, in Streeter, N.D., son of Jacob and Katherine Meisch Perman. He married Ruth Zaderaka on Feb. 14, 1942, at Walnut Street Baptist Church.
Mr. Perman graduated from high school in Goodrich, N.D., and business college in Jamestown, N.D. He worked for John Deere in the specifications office, operated Perman Standard Service for 20 years, and then sold real estate for Century 21. He was a member of Walnut Ridge Baptist Church.
Survived by his wife; a son, Craig (Kathie) of Denver, Colo.; two grandchildren, Lindsay and Aaron; and many nieces and nephews
Preceded in death by a sister, Alice Perman.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Walnut Ridge Baptist Church, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Locke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
