Brody Evan Sanders, 6 day old infant son of Johnny Leland Sanders & Jennifer Louise Bergmeier died Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City. Brody was born July 26, 2006 at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo.

Survivors include his parents, Johnny Leland Sanders & Jennifer Louise Bergmeier of Waterloo; his sister, Sofia Stephana Sanders of Waterloo, maternal grandparents, Keith & Connie Joy of Wellsburg, Iowa; paternal grandparents, Diane Sanders and Russ Bodecker of Elk Run Heights; great-grandparents, Richard & Delores Folkers of Cedar Falls; an uncle, Jason Bergmeier of Waterloo; an aunt, Tonya Martin of Nashua, and many loving great aunts & uncles.

He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents, Hazel & John Myers.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 5, 2006 at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home with interment in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
